Dress – Coast (came with no sleeves)
Shoes – Kurt Geiger
Jewellery – Kyles, Cartier
During last week was what was considered by students to be the “staple event of the year”: our prom. The lead-up to prom was a blur of appointments, decisions and hence inevitably indecisiveness; albeit it would be wrong if I denied that the whole lead-up was somewhat enjoyable at the same time too.
Regarding what I wore, the original dress actually came with no sleeves, and if I’m truly honest I felt that without the sleeves, the dress looked quite plain, so I had tailor-made sleeves added to the dress. I also wore traditional Indian jewellery with the dress, just because I love Indian jewellery! The choker-style necklace for me was definitely a homage to my culture, as well as just something unique which made the outfit itself stand out. The best part of prom was probably seeing all of my friends dressed up for the occasion, especially because I haven’t seen many of my friends for a while now.
Since my exams have been over, I thought I would have lots of time on my hands to do whatever I wish and primarily for me that meant blogging! Unfortunately, however, I am busier than I thought would be, and am hence struggling to find the time to regain my blogging mojo. Nevertheless, I will continue to post on my blog as regularly as I can, because I really am passionate about blogging and I have the best bunch of readers that I would never ever want to leave!
