Finally autumn has come and I have an excuse to wear all of my favourite clothes at once and, perhaps most importantly, wear knitwear! I love chunky knits and cable knit sweaters, they’re so perfect to just throw on, and not to mention the fact they feel undeniably cosy. I think by now I probably have a jumper in every colour that exists! I picked up this jumper randomly from TK Maxx, it’s actually a couple of sizes too large for me, as all the other sizes were sold out; but I definitely don’t mind because baggy jumpers just look more slouchy, a look I totally don’t mind endorsing in.
Another thing I greatly look forward to every autumn/winter are the boots! This season, chelsea boots seem to be everywhere, I love the sturdiness and understated look chelsea boots can add to an outfit. I’m also looking into purchasing a few knee length boots, just because I feel the colder seasons are incomplete without a good pair of knee length boots.
And coats! Another thing I greatly look forward to when winter comes definitely has to be outerwear. This classic camel brown boyfriend coat has been a staple for the second year running now. A classic black Zara coat is yet to make its appearance on my blog along with a few other purchases. For me, buying a coat requires much deliberation, every small factor has to be considered before making that fundamental buy. A good coat can really complete an outfit in my opinion. This year round I didn’t have to dwell too much on which coat I would choose, I just happened to come across it in where else but Dubai.
Sorry if this post seems a little rushed, I have been bogged down with lots of college work. I’m attempting an essay on utilitarianism as we speak!
